• Cahill 4 is an adult Psychiatric locked unit. There are 18 beds available on this inpatient unit of which we see various types of psychiatric illnesses such as schizophrenia bi-polar and affective disorders, personality disorders, detox, adjustment disorder, psychosis, and use DBT/CBT group therapy. According to DMH we have a lower than average restraint use, use sensory approach to de-escalating patients, and all staff are educated in trauma informed care with provides each patient with individualized care.
  
  CHA is seeking a Nurse Manager who would be responsible for Cahill 4 at The Cambridge Hospital. Cahill 4 is an 18 bed secure psychiatric unit. The unit provides short-term psychiatric care for adults age 18 and older. Treatment focus is assessment, stabilization and aftercare planning for the patient. A multidisciplinary team approach is used in working with patients. It is located at the CHA Cambridge Hospital campus and serves people of all ages across the Greater Boston region. 24-hour accountability and responsibility for nursing care delivered to patients as well as supervision of nursing staff.
